How To Upgrade Your Plasma TV To HDMI Easily and Affordably

Are you looking for a way to upgrade your plasma television set from the ancient analog AV cable setup to the modern HDMI format? The process of converting from an old plasma TV to an HDMI is not an easy one, but it is possible. This guide will walk you through the steps necessary to make this conversion happen.

The first step in converting your old plasma television set to HDMI is to ensure that you have all the necessary equipment. You’ll need an HDMI splitter box – this will allow you to split and carry the audio and video signal from your source device (such as a Blu-Ray player) across multiple devices, including a monitor or television set. You’ll also need an appropriate cable that is compatible with both your source device and your HDTV or monitor, such as an HDMI cable or DVI cable.

Once you have all of the necessary equipment, it’s time to connect everything. Start by connecting one end of the selected cable to your source device – be sure you get the right type of connection depending on which input ports are available on your source device and output ports on your display device. From there, connect the other end of the cable to the corresponding input port on your Plasma TV.

Now that everything has been connected, it’s time to configure any settings needed for optimal performance. If using an HDMI connection, be sure that both devices are set up for ‘HDMI pass-through mode’ – this setting allows audio and video signals to pass through directly without having any further manual configuration done at either side of the equation. If using a different connection type such as DVI, additional configurations may need to be carried out such as assigning resolutions and color depths manually for optimal performance.

Once these settings have been taken care of, it’s time to power up both devices involved in this process and test out whether or not everything can work together properly! Try switching back and forth between different inputs (if available) – if all goes according to plan then after turning it off/on again everything should start working right away!
